This website is dedicated to the dissemination of the results of specific projects of the Laboratory of Lifestyle Research, Department of Medical Epidemiology, Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri, Milan, Italy. In particular, the Laboratory is conducting two projects:

• Novel Products Project: within this project we are building to cohorts of Italian adults to investigate the use and the consequences of use of novel nicotine-containing products, such as electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products.
• Smoking Cancer Project: within the present project we are conducting a series of systematic reviews and meta-analyses on the association between cigarette smoking and cancer risk at any cancer site.
